We have conferences this week. Monday will be a normal day, and Tuesday will be a short day (school is dismissed at 12:10). Here is what the conference schedule looks like:

- phonics: marking short (use a breve) and long vowels (use a macron)
- phonics: phonetic skill #1
- math: modeling 3 digit numbers (see picture)
- math: writing a number given a model
- writing: simple sentences
- science: metamorphic rocks
- comprehension: close reading of A Chair for My Mother
