October 16 & 17

We have conferences this week.  Monday will be a normal day, and Tuesday will be a short day (school is dismissed at 12:10).  Here is what the conference schedule looks like:

I look forward to meeting you at conferences!  We don't have much time this week, but here is what we will be working on:
Have a great fall break!  School will resume on Monday, October 23.

October 2-5

Is it already October?!  Time has been flying by!

There is no school on Friday, October 6th.  Teachers will be preparing for conferences.
Conferences will be held on February 10th & 11th.  The scheduler will be open from October 4th to October 11th.  Please schedule as soon as possible to get an appointment that works for you.
To schedule, go to the Online Scheduler (you can also access the online scheduler by clicking the Bridger Elementary link to the right, selecting Parents at the top of the page, and selecting "Parent Teacher Conference Online Scheduler")
  1. Choose 'Bridger' from the drop down list and click "go."
  2. Enter the school password (bears).
  3. Enter your student's ID (it is their lunch number).
  4. Verify your student's birth date.
  5. A list of teachers will be displayed - check the box next to the name of each teacher you would like to meet with.
  6. Select the conference time that works best for your schedule.  Once you have finished, confirm your appointment details and print your schedule.
  7. WRITE DOWN YOUR CONFIRMATION NUMBER - YOU WILL NEED IT IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL YOUR APPOINTMENT.

Our Cache Valley Direct fundraiser starts this week.  This is an important fundraiser for Bridger.  Half of the money from all books purchased goes directly back to our school!  The card and the coupons included in book provide great savings at many businesses around the valley.  You will save more with the card and coupons than you spend to buy the book!

We are also having a Box Tops competition this month!  So, now is the time to send in all those Box Tops that are sitting on your kitchen counter!

Here is what we will be working on this week in class:
Have a great week!

We will be taking the STAR test on Tuesday.  STAR test results will allow us to set AR goals for the first trimester.  For an explanation of AR and how to find AR books, click here.  We also have access to Reflex Math this week.  For more information about Reflex Math (including how to log-in), click here.
